WAREMA Shading Systems

It is both sustainable and smart to plan for exterior shading—capable of blocking up to 95% of solar energy—already at the design stage of the building.

From May to September, far more energy enters a room through windows than needed, leading to overheating. Internal shading only dims the light, while the house continues to absorb heat through the glass.

When manufacturing windows, we prioritise thermal resistance, as it has long been one of the key factors affecting both comfort and cost. With increasing glass surface areas in modern architecture and noticeable climate shifts—even in Latvia—it’s becoming essential to consider shading solutions that prevent indoor spaces from overheating during the summer.

To improve comfort and reduce energy costs, we offer shading and insect screen solutions from the renowned German manufacturer WAREMA. Each product has its own distinct features and benefits, so we encourage you to contact us to find the solution that best suits your needs.

SMART LIGHT AND HEAT CONTROL

A specialized façade shading system allows daylight to enter while blocking up to 95% of solar energy. This means reduced overheating, lower energy consumption, and increased indoor comfort.

INTEGRATED EXTERNAL BLINDS

The “Hidden cover panel” system, installed before exterior wall finishing, allows for full integration of shading into the architecture—without visible boxes or distracting components. The result is clean, uninterrupted design lines.

VENETIAN BLINDS

Horizontal aluminum blinds with motorized slat angle and lift controls. When set to a horizontal position during bright sunlight, they reflect up to 95% of solar energy while maintaining a view outside.

This dual effect works because your line of sight is horizontal while the sun’s rays descend from above.

  • Available with various slat types and shades
  • Corner-connected blind systems available

ROLLER BLINDS

Horizontal roller blinds made of PVC fabric with motorized lift control. When fully lowered during sunny days, they block up to 90% of solar energy while still allowing partial visibility through the fabric, depending on its transparency.

  • PVC fabrics available in a wide range of colors, textures, and visibility levels
  • Models with or without inclined awnings
  • Glazed roof shading options

INSECT SCREENS

A safe, effective way to enjoy meals without wasps, focus without flies, and sleep without mosquitoes.

The roller-type insect screens feature a cassette, mesh, side guides, and a handle bar.

Compact, secure construction for external mounting on standard windows and doors

  • Soft-raise function for smooth retraction
  • Locking mechanism for stability when lowered
  • Automatic control available
  • Also suitable for sloped roof windows

PERGOLAS

Pergolas offer a sleek, modern solution for terraces, gardens, and outdoor relaxation areas, delivering protection from sun, wind, and rain. They merge elegance with practicality, ensuring comfort throughout the year.

Automated control and adaptability—most models can be easily operated and retracted as needed, maximizing ease and comfort.

Built for longevity—constructed from aluminum and other premium materials for a long lifespan with minimal upkeep.

CONTROL

The WAREMA control system is designed with your needs in mind. Whether you prefer a wall switch, remote, smartphone, or full smart home integration, our team will help you choose the most suitable option.

Control system prices start from a few hundred euros; advanced systems may cost several thousand. Installation requires coordination between your electrician, low-voltage technician, and our specialists.

WMS Web Control Pro

This device syncs with your smartphone when connected to your home Wi-Fi. Commands entered into the app are translated into radio signals and sent to the blind’s receiver, which also acts as a transmitter. The system makes it easy to control blinds via a smartphone app—available for both Android and iOS.

WMS Weather Station Plus

Automatically adjusts blinds based on weather conditions. For example, blinds are raised during strong winds to prevent damage and lowered in direct sun.

Main features:

  • Powered by 230V mains
  • Detects sunlight, sunrise/sunset, wind speed, and precipitation
  • Ice monitoring via temperature + precipitation detection
  • Accurate wind detection via flow sensor

Threshold values can be set individually for each blind using a single weather station. It is installed on the highest point of the house roof to ensure optimal operation.
