Lustigkulla Kindergarten in Sweden
A new preschool built to Passive House standard has been built in Alsike, Knivsta Municipality, with eight separate sections.
The compact building form creates smaller and diverse outdoor areas, enabling efficient pedagogical use of exterior space and blending the building’s interior with its surroundings. The structure features a varied architectural volume and a dynamic roofscape. Lustigkulla is an energy class A building and was nominated for the Swedish Design Award in 2018.
